Most people have WiFi but just in case you do not, you can always connect your iPhone up to iTunes using the cable provided with your device or a third party cable.
iTunes will automatically connect to Apple servers and will apply the unlock for your iPhone. This method is really simple and incredibly secure. For an iPhone unlock to work it is incredibly important that all details provided are the correct details for that phone. This includes the IMEI number and the network carrier that the device is locked to. If the original sim card is still in the phone then it will be very easy to know what the carrier is.
